Feature: Widget where I resize pictures before upload

Is there a widget that will resize pictures before they are uploaded in JotForm? I have a form where users are required to submit (3) before and (3) after pictures. A couple of the users have iPhone7's and the form keeps timing out and giving them errors because of, I am assuming, the sheer size of the combined pictures.

I have had a given a couple internal employees a Droid phone and I installed a picture resizing App and they have uploaded over 700 forms each without a single issue.   The issues I am having are with subcontractors and I do not want to have to have them install any App's on their personal phones.

I understand that the main issue is file upload size, in which case I would suggest that you simply change the file upload size limit by following our guide here: https://www.jotform.com/help/33-Changing-the-File-Upload-Size-Limit

I hope this helps. If you need further assistance please let us know. Thank you.

So if I limit the file upload size to 2MB, let's say, does JotForm resize it or would JotForm not allow it to upload?

Unfortunately there we do not have an app that allows to resize an image before being uploaded. So to answer your last question. Yes, it will not allow to upload the file if it's above 2mb since the limit set is 2mb.

But with your original inquiry, I believe that it is just right that we should have that in the form builder whether on the basic form or via widgets. So I will submit a request to the development team for such feature. However, I cannot guarantee that this can be worked on anytime soon. But once we have this implemented, we'll inform you right away.

    Thanks and warm regards.
