JotForm as a follow up email

Jot form needs to be set up to go out as email with each first order and again 6 weeks later with a 20% discount promo code attached to the order

If I understand you correctly, you want to send an email after filling up your form and submit. Also, you want the email to arrive to the person who submitted after 6 weeks with a 20% discount promo code. 

That is possible here in JotForm. You need add an autoresponder email to your form. Here's a guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/26-Setting-Up-an-Autoresponder-Email

After that, in the autoresponder email Advanced settings. You can change the Send Emails Later, choose the On a Date and select the date you prefer.

You can also customize the autoresponder email message in the Email Content.
