Emails: Ability to rename the filename of the PDF Attachment in email

Hi there - we are using the feature which attaches the completed form in PDF format as an attachment in the email alert that is sent.

Right now that title of that attachment appears to be some random string of numbers (i.e. 3694709340211253533.pdf).

Is there any way to systematically rename the attachment (i.e. Last Name_Name-of-Form.pdf)

    THANK YOU

UPDATE: We are excited to announce that we have just released the new version of JotForm PDF Editor.

For the attached PDF submission on your Email Notifications, it will always be in that format, where the filename is the Submission ID. There's no way to change this to a different input field on your form, nor any option to rename it in the first place.

The least I could do is elevate your thread as a feature request. Please keep in mind that there's no assurance whether this will be implemented. It will highly depend on the viability of the feature, the amount of similar requests we get, along with the workload of our Developers.

We can't give you any timeframe but we'll keep you apprised on this same thread when there's an update.

UPDATE: We are excited to announce that we have just released the new version of JotForm PDF Editor.

Along with the much-enhanced customization options, now you are able to change the name of your PDF files based on the fields of your form.

That way filename of your attached PDF file on Email will change too!
