Can this be fixed?
Also, how do I make sure my personal email isn't being suppressed?

When a custom sender is used, the emails are being sent from our servers with 'From:' field set to your email address. There is no way to change how the custom sender works, but we also provide a custom SMTP sender option where emails are being sent from your email provider servers.
