Stripe Payment Gateway: Months can not be translated
-
yalcin77Asked on May 02, 2017 at 11:50 PMI am using ‘free’ version of Jotform for now and I will buy the product either bronze or silver version once I am sure I can accomplish everything I need with this app,
I could actually change the language by modifying it - this issue is partially closed. I need help on 2 issues;
1) I could upload the payment page with Method B according to the article http://submit.jotformpro.com/help/214-How-to-add-forms-to-Joomla-2-5 . Method A did not work in my case. The only problem is, since I am not seeing the code and it is just the embed code, I am not able to modify the credit card expiration field where there is a drop down menu and months are being opened. I need to translate these months in the list into Turkish language as well. How can I do this with this Method B? It would be so easy if I were to use Method A, bit it did not work,
2)The page opens on my web perfectly, and it is now in the test mode with Stripe. I am trying with stripe test card numbers but the payment is not going through, why this could be?
the test page is;
http://www.amerikabasvur.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&layout=edit&id=120
And my embed code is; -

Hello,
We're sorry for the inconvenience you have.
I have cloned your form named "Ödeme Yap" on my side in order to test it.
1) I have seen that it is not possible to translate the month field of the payment gateway to Turkish with the Multilingual form method and also adding the forms to the Joomla.
I have forwarded this issue to our software developers in order to consider implementing a feature in order to translate the months in Stripe.
We are going to inform you via this thread as soon as the feature will be implemented.
2) I am going to answer this question at the following thread link: https://www.jotform.com/answers/1134745
Thank you for reporting us.

yalcin77Answered on May 03, 2017 at 01:07 PMHi,Is there any way just to keep the months as numbers? Honestly I have never seen a credit card which puts the expiration month in letters, why is it in letters with Jotform? If we can switch them simply to month numbers I guess it would be the best,Looking forward to hearing,Thanks,Yan

Hi Yan,
Unfortunately, it's not possible to set the expiration month as numbers. As my colleague mentioned, there is a ticket for this issue, and it's marked as important. You will be notified via this thread with any progress.
Thank you for understanding.
