We'd like to offer a discount on the first month's subscription by either allowing them to enter a discount code or preferrably automatic. The issue is I see the "first month" option in the authorize.net subscription wizard, however it looks like it takes the normal price (say $49) and adds a setup fee on top of that. In our case we just want to specify a different (less) price of $25 for the first month, then $49 for every month thereafter. Any way to do this?Page URL:

The first payment amount will be taken as the setup fee+first month, which is ussually more. But you can set it up in the way you describe before
It will look like this:
Regarding to the discount code, this is a feature already requested by some users and probably it will be implemented in the future

charged a TOTAL of $25, for month 2 and onwards they would pay $49?

Your assumption is totally correct.
Go ahead and create your payment integration in that way
