Save form to continue later: Selected state of address field is not saved.

Asked by sandboxlogistics on May 03, 2017 at 01:43 PM

    Hello,

I have an address form element and have implemented the save and resume feature for my form. It appears as though the "Selected State" doesn't "remember" what was selected when I have it set to "American States" ....

    Hello sandboxlogistics,

I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.

I did test your form and I am unable to replicate the issue you are having. Input data in your form's address field does gets displayed correctly including the selected value of "State" dropdown. Please check the screenshot below:

I would suggest you to please test your form again and get back to us if the issue persists.

    Thank you!

I have tested it several times. I am using Safari and each time I have selected the drop down for state and hit next. I then reload the page and when I get to that step it has the state select drop down as "Please Select"

I also cannot replicate the problem. I think your browser autofill is causing it. I would suggest accessing your session using a different browser, fill the dropdown then reload after clicking the next button.

Here's my session in the form: https://form.jotform.us/71085915784163?session=welvin@jotform.com

For the auto fill, try to disable the option in your Safari browser to see if the issue persists: https://support.apple.com/kb/PH21470?locale=en_US
