I need to find an on-line tool that I can send to a class of around 4-500

    Secondly, I need to find an on-line tool that I can send to a class of @4-500 students so they can sign up for labs in the fall.  Our registration system at the UR is old and limited in its capabilities.  Fall is chaos for us because the students switch labs constantly and we need to keep track of who is where so we can collect grade data.  What I need is a form that is similar to that used for catalog ordering that inventories how many spaces are left in each of our labs in real time so.  If it could generate a wait list for the times they are unable to get it even better but that would probably be asking too much.  Any suggestions?

    The second issue is not as time sensitive as the first.  If you could please let me know I would greatly appreciate it.

    Our free Starter Plan is certainly more than capable of handling up to 500 submissions using 1-5 forms but, if you go beyond that it would be better to upgrade to avoid complications.

    You could just share the link to the form to allow them to sign up on it as needed.

    It is very easy to create a form to get started.

    Additionally, something that may benefit you would be our inventory widget so that you can control and set up how many spaces you have for your classes.

    Many thanks. The widget is awesome.  There is just one caveat with this.   Is it possible to use use the widget in a radio box situation?  The students will be able to choose from a list of labs; however, I need to make it so they can only select 1.

    You are very welcome.

    Unfortunately, as far as I know the inventory widget doesn't support that type of functionality as I double checked on this just to be certain.

    However, I would be more than happy to send it to our developers as a feature request on your behalf to consider but we could not promise any sort of guarantee or timeframe if added.

    A way to workaround that issue though using multiple singular inventory widgets with a radio field with conditions to show them based on what was selected and that would create what you need.

    Outstanding.  That work around is on the money; however, it would be so much easier not to have to create so many if statements.

    Glad to hear that the solution provided by KadeJM resolved your issue. Unfortunately, the best way to do that is to use the Show and Hide Field condition.

    Let us know if you need further assistance. Thank you.

    Also, is there a way I can have the end user set up an account and password so they can return to their account and change their answer or previous response.

    @ARCORACI

    Since that is a new question, we have moved it to a separate thread here https://www.jotform.com/answers/1136997. We'll be on it shortly.

    Thanks
