How to post the calculated value form one page to another page of same form?

Asked by cobtravel on May 10, 2017 at 09:29 AM

I need to calculate several fields to form a total cost and then transfer that cost over to a second page so that it can be visible but not be edited. I have set up the calculations fields, but it is not working properly or I don't have it set up properly.

    Hello cobtravel,

I did check your form and I am not sure if I have understood your requirement correctly. You have added following two conditions in your form:

Do you mean to say that if the value is filled in any of the fields under "Cost Breakdown", the value should be displayed in the fields of last page under "Post travel form"?

You can add similar condition (which you have already added) to check if any of the form fields are filled, insert the same value in the last page as well. Please check the following cloned form where I have added the required conditions to populate the last page:  https://form.jotform.com/71294472540961

Feel free to clone this form for a closer look. The following guide should help you in form cloning:  https://www.jotform.com/help/42-How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you want to add other calculations as well and we will try to help you.

    Thank you!
