Can I conditionally send an email based on the value (if it's less than or greater than) of a currency?

    Is there a way to determine if one field is greater or less in currency and send an email on trigger of the answer?

    Yes this is doable but since you never mentioned which form you're working on, nor which fields are in question, I'll just show you a sample form showing how this can be done.

    The demo form above has 3 fields - An email field and 2 number fields.

    If you're going to test it, ensure you will fill out your actual email address so you can test if the condition to send an email works or not. Basically, here's how the condition was setup:

    In layman's terms:

    IF the 1st value IS GREATER THAN the 2nd value THEN SEND the Autoresponder template to the email provided.

    Also, please be noted that "Greater Than" and "Less Than" in action rules of conditions are only applicable to "Number" fields and "Form Calculation" widget.

    Thanks Amy, although you still haven't mentioned which field you're using for the condition, my guess is that it's the ACTUAL SPEND TOTAL field, is that correct? I came up with that assumption since that's the only field associated with the CHANGE EMAIL RECIPIENT Condition. The rest were for the DEPARTMENT/CHAIR SIGNATURE Dropdown field.

    Just like what my colleague said, the GREATER THAN and LESS THAN states are only available to Number Fields and the Form Calculation Widget. Your ACTUAL SPEND TOTAL field however is a Textbox Field (Short Text Entry).

    A workaround is to add a Number Field to your form and use that instead of a Textbox Field. In case you'd need more help, don't hesitate to let us know.
