An order form I created does not receive transactions

Asked by MaiyaW on May 12, 2017 at 10:41 AM

I created an order form on this site:

the order is fine, but when I try to pay for the items, it tells me that the card was declined (i tried two different cards)

This is a site that functions in Japan, and needs to take Japanese postal codes.

Could that be the issue? If you can help me solve it, that would be great.

    Thank you,

    Hi there,

There are few reasons why a card is declined so we kindly ask you to try again by applying the following suggestions.

Please take note that Square (the payment integration you're currently using) requires 100% accuracy. Please ensure that the the information entered on the form matches the payment card exactly. Example, the name on the card as well as the other information.

However, if all the entered information are valid and correct and the transaction is still declined, please contact your card-issuing bank for more information. Perhaps there are some security issues that needs to be addressed.

If none of the above helps, please let us know so we can further investigate this issue.

    Thank you

    Thank you for your advice.
I believe I entered all of the correct information.
Is there a possibility that it does not work with Japanese postal codes?

    Hi Maiya,

We don't really have any insight about that, I think it's best to contact your bank and ask them, as they will have more insight about this issue.

Please let us know if you need any further help.

    Thank you!
