Infusionsoft Integration - Actions based on form answers

    Hi,

    Is the infusionsoft integration able to do things (i.e. tag) based off answers within the form versus just one action when the form is submitted?

    Basically, I am looking to fire off campaigns based off a specific answer within the form.

     

    I.E. If the user chooses blue as their favorite color they will either receive a blue tag (which fires off a campaign) or same but using the API feature.

    (In the example form: When they choose their platforms (last section) I need it to fire off an email with instructions to link that platform to our software).

    Yes, you can select tags in Infusionsoft integration:

    Regarding the sending of the emails based on a certain field's value, please check this user guide section from Infusionsoft, hope it helps: http://help.infusionsoft.com/ (if I understood you correctly, you want to send from the InfusionSoft right?)

    I'm not sure I completely understood that, so when they select some of these:

    An email should be sent from InfusionSoft correct?

    I guess the above help page could help with that if the tags can be used in that way. But please correct me if I'm wrong, so we can review some other options.

    Does the integration allow you to apply the tag based on the answer? i.e. I would want a tag applied based on their choices here:

    so if they selected "Twitter" and Instagram they will get tagged "Twitter"  and "Instagram" in infusionsoft.

    I just wanted to follow up with you. 

    I'm still checking this issue since I'm not that familiar with InfusionSoft, so I will have to check this further. I stumbled upon this video though: https://appointmentcore.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/201807875-Apply-tags-in-Infusionsoft-to-trigger-campaign-emails-and-other-actions where it is explained how to trigger campaign emails based on applied tag. That might be helpful for a start.

    I do understand that part. I'm trying to see if the integration with jot form will tag based on the answer in the form. I know how to handle the campaigns once they are tagged but I need to get them tagged first by jotform based on a specific answer to a question.

    Thank you for the additional information we appreciate it.

    To my understanding, you would like to add a tag to a contact in Infusionsoft based on the selected option in your form.

    Although, from what I know, this is not possible through Jotform's Infusionsoft integration process since adding tags are only pre-defined

    You can try to use Zapier to apply tags to an existing contact.

    Basically, the integration of the form with Infusionsoft will create a contact (email address) then, Zapier will add a tag to that existing contact based on the selected option from a Jotform field.

    Additional field source (see image above) is used if you are planning to add more than one tag per submission. This also means that if you are using a checkbox in Jotform to collect (multiple) tags, you need to separate the selected options using conditions (in Jotform) to separate (textbox) fields and add each (textbox) field as an additional source in Zapier.

    This workaround worked properly when a test was made in Zapier during zap. I, however, haven't tried this on an actual submission since it requires a paid account in Zapier before you can enable zaps with Infusionsoft.

    Sorry for the late update, but we'd like to inform you that we have just implemented a feature called 'Dynamic Tagging'.

    This allows you to change the tag applied to a form depending on a user's answer.
