I've created my first form. Once a customer fills it out will they need to save the information and email it back? Or will it somehow be stored under

Hi,
When your user clicks on the "Submit" button, the submission will be sent both to your recipient email address and to your user's recipient address. Also, it will be stored in Jotform's server. You can check your submissions both on your email inbox and on your Jotform account.
If you do not want to send a sample of the submission to the user, you should cancel the autoresponder.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.
Thank you!
Kindest Regards.

Another important point I have forgotten to mention is that you can send an edit link via your autoresponder.
Please check the user guide which I have shared with you below:
How to Let Users Update Their Form Submissions at a Later Date
Also, you may want to check another user guide which is about to the function of saving forms and continue later:
How to Save Forms and Continue Later
What does "Save forms and continue later" mean?
"Let's say that you have a survey which includes over 10 pages. Your user starts to fill out your forms but suddenly something happens, maybe the computer shuts down or the user has an urgent call and closes your form without submitting it. It is possible to prevent this, JotForm has an amazing feature that saves the forms for each unique user and for each page the form is filled. That way your users will be able to continue to fill out your forms whenever they are available."
