    Hi,

Form Calculation need to work exaclty like a Number field.

For example on the Calculation field I can type text I want to disable this possibily !

    Exactly like number field work.

Another thing is on mobile Calculation field use normal keyboard (with Text) but on the number field it use Numerical keyboard.

Could you fix it ASAP plz.

Unfortunately, that is something that we can not fix, since that is how the Form Calculations field is working and it is intended like that.

As a workaround, you can hide that form calculations field, insert one numerical and use condition to copy value from calculation field to number field:

That way you will always have calculated value in the numerical field as you wanted. Here is my test form where when you insert numbers in a and b field it will be calculated and inserted in the numerical field: https://form.jotformpro.com/71336292292962. I didn't hide the calculation field, but you can do that of course.

    Hope it helps.

Let us know if you have any further questions.

    Thank you!

    Hi Nik,

Thanks for your workaround but I can't use it it will be lot's of hassle for nothing.

I will stick for what we have now.. Can you put it as a Feature request even if I know you don't provide ETA... and I know they will never implant it lol

    Regards

I have attached a feature request ticket to this thread. We will let you know if we have any updates on this.

In the meantime, if you need the number like inputs you should use the Number fields. They can be used within Form Calculation fields so this should not be a problem.

Some users currently use dollar, pound, commas and other symbols within calculation fields, this is why the Number type is not a universal solution since it will not work for everyone.
