How to allow users to preview input data before submitting the form?

    Hi,

We offer signups to an obstacle race and have all the fields and info in a one page form with the Stripe payment widget last.

People tend to misspell names, phone numbers an email addresses so we want to give them a chance to review their data before actually sending it.

    1. If I use the Page break how can I retrieve the data they just filled in so that they can see it?

    2. If they want to change any details- can I send them back to the first page without them having to retype everything?

    3. If we for some reason want to alter any info on the admin side- can we do that just on the first page and not including approving the payment again?

    Hello Daniel,

    1. If I use the Page break how can I retrieve the data they just filled in so that they can see it?

Yes it is possible to achieve your by taking advantage of conditions feature. You may like to take a look at the following guide which should help you:  https://www.jotform.com/help/286-How-to-Pass-Field-Value-to-Another-Field

    2. If they want to change any details- can I send them back to the first page without them having to retype everything?

For your requirement, I would suggest you to please take a look at our "Preview Before Submit" widget and see if that fits into your requirement. This will allow your users to preview whatever they have input and they can click on back button to go back and edit the input data.

    3. If we for some reason want to alter any info on the admin side- can we do that just on the first page and not including approving the payment again?

I have moved this question to a new thread so that we can address it separately. You will be answered in the following thread:  https://www.jotform.com/answers/1144662

    Hope this helps.
