How to send confirmation email with conditions?

I have a form that has a lot of conditional formatting in it.  The form is built by giving the user the choice to select an option from several radio button selections, and according to that selection, text appears under that selection providing the user with details of the option they selected.  I would like them to be able to access those details after they submit their form, and through the email confirmation is what would make the most sense to me.  The problem is it doesn't look like that is a function of jotform email confirmations.  Is there anything else I can do to overcome this problem?

    Hello,

You are able to set conditional autoresponder emails to your form as you can see in the following guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/167-How-to-Send-Email-Based-on-User-s-Answer

Please try and if you need any further assistance, let us know.

    Thanks.

    Candy,

Thank you for the response!  However, I'm not sure the problem is quite covered by the example you provided.  The form at the link we provided hides or shows static text fields based upon the response they give in the last question.  We simply would like the conditional field that shows up depending on the conditional logic to also show up in the auto-responder email.  We do not need to send conditional emails - we just need to send an email displaying the hidden fields revealed by the conditional logic tied to the response of a single question.

    Thanks!

    Hello AgPhd,

I did check your form and found that you have several "Text" fields and conditions to show / hide those field. If I understand your question correctly, you want to add these text field in the auto-responder email. Is that correct?

    There are two issues here:

#1. By default, text fields are not part of submission email template. If you want to display the content of "text' field in emails, you need to manually add it in email template.

#2. It is not possible to conditionally add/remove or show/hide fields in email alerts.

The only option, I can think of is to manually add multiple auto-responder in your form. Here are the steps you need to follow:

#1. For every condition which you have added to show / hide text field, you need to add one auto-responder email alert.

#2. Edit the auto-responder email alert template and manually add the content of "Text" field by adding a row. Please check the screenshot below:

#3. Add another set of conditions in your form to send appropriate auto-responder email based on user's answer. The following guide should help you:  https://www.jotform.com/help/167-How-to-Send-Email-Based-on-User-s-Answer

    Hope this helps.
