How to display thank you message for a while and then redirect to a new URL?

I moved to JotForm from having been a longtime user of Adobe's FormsCentral - and in general JotForm has become increasingly complex and flexible since I migrated.

However there was one extremely useful facility available in FormsCentral that has not (as yet?) become available in JotForm which is better options in creating the 'Thank You' page than is currently achievable.

In FormsCentral there was an option to display the 'Thank you' message screen for a selectable period of time (in secs) before it automatically re-directed the browser to load an alternative URL - e.g. a map of, or driving directions to, a venue/home website.

Currently in JotForm the option is 'either/or' would it possible to add a third option which would be a combination of both options? (i.e. display 'Thank you'  for xx seconds before auto redirecting to a new URL?)

Unfortunately, there is no built in feature currently available to display the thank you message for a while and then redirect users to custom thank you URL but with a little workaround it is possible to achieve your requirement.

Yes I am aware of that BUT your suggestion assumes that the email can be handled by a proprietary (in house) server.

This particular option should not require a 'work around' or even require an HTML script to be created/uploaded but should be provided as a simple option on your 'Thank you' settings page -

This - for many people using JotForm - is not possible for them to implement your 'work around' because they simply don't have their own website - many people simply use JotForm to distribute emails directly.

This basic 'dual display for x seconds then forward' option facility was inbuilt and available well over 6 years ago in  Adobe FormsCentral so, in reality, it surely should not prove to be too difficult to provide/implement this capability in JotForm's online 'Thank you' page creation dialogue!

As mentioned, we do not have this feature right now, the workarounds are just alternatives.

However, we understand that you need this feature as a built in function so my colleague forwarded this as a feature request to our developers. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that this will be implemented but we will update you on this thread as soon as we hear any news.
