Hello, I have tried to add up 17 fields into one total but I am getting a rather strange output.

Field 3 in the list is adding up 1 and 2 and the total remain empty.

There is a plus "+" sign at the and of your calculation that needs to be removed.

Once you remove it, total calculation will work properly.

Here is my cloned form: https://form.jotformpro.com/71362347271959

    Feel free to test it.

Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Hi Mark,

It seems like your post didn't went through our forum, but I see a copy of it in our mail logs. I have quoted it here for reference:

"Hello and thank you however try the form again and you will see that box three is adding up the first two as well as the total at the botom?

    Mark"

I am not sure if I understand your concern correctly, do you wish to sum up ALL the the text boxes under the "6C Regular Expenditure"? If so, you are missing "Council Tax" in your formula.

I also advised that you disable the "Continue Forms Later" option temporarily. This is because this function saves your previous input and populates it in your form, it is possible that you are getting the previous input that is why you are seeing different total calculations.

Also, your list in 6C only has 16 fields to add up, not including the "Total Expenditure" text box. I cloned your form and re-added the fields to sum up, I also disabled the . You can check it here: https://form.jotformpro.com/71362235977968. Try to test my form in a new tab/window, make sure that it's in incognito mode (Chrome) or Private browsing (Firefox).

If my form works as you expected, then please follow the steps I mentioned.

    I hope that helps.
