How to allow recipients to add event to their calendar?

I really love  your site but there is so much to learn.  Is there a way to put in the form a way to add the event to their calendar?  I tried putting it in the outlook calendar we use, which could work, but a lot of people probably will reply to the calendar and not click on the link to choose the lunch option.

    Any ideas would be appreciated

Unfortunately, we don't have an integration with Outlook calendar. However, if the recipient is using a gmail account, you can try this method:

    1. Add a Date Picker field to your form and an Email field for the autoresponder email.

    2. After the user submitted the form, the user should receive an autoresponder with a date that they can add to Google Calendar.

Hope that helps. If you need further assistance, please contact us again. Thank you.

Ok, I have tried this, but now I am not getting the email autoresponder message. I sent it to myself at a different address so see if it works.
When you put in the date picker, I see where you can fill it in with a specific date and have it read only, is that what I am supposed to be doing?

Could you please share the form ID or form direct link so we can check it further?

You can try using my demo form, here's the link: https://form.jotformpro.com/71365733177966. You need to put the correct email address where you want to receive the autoresponder email.

To make the autoresponder email work, you need to add an Email field to your form and create a new autoresponder email in the Emails tab. See image below:

    Here's a guide on: https://www.jotform.com/help/26-Setting-Up-an-Autoresponder-Email

Please contact us again if you still not getting the autoresponder email. Thank you.

I have tried submitting your JotForm and I have also not received the auto-responder. As I check the issue further, I notice that you have configured SMTP to send the auto-responder on the form.

It seems that there is an issue with the SMTP settings in your account. Please check and make sure that you have set the correct settings for the SMTP account.

I am not sure how to set the settings. Now I am not even getting the email notice after it's filled out. If I use jotmail instead of my my work settings will that work? We use outlook but because of the way it's set up there isn't a password for the email jus for signing in to the network

To set up SMTP on your form, please follow the instructions provided in this guide: How to Setup SMTP for a Form. If you want to edit the SMTP settings on your form, please refer to this guide also: How to Edit/Delete Sender Emails on SMTP Settings.

I also did a test submit on your form and I wasn't able to receive the Autoresponder Email. Could you please try to use the noreply@jotform.com as the sender email?

If the issue still persists, please try removing the Email Notification and Autoresponder Email and add it back on your form. Then, please let us know how it goes.

    Regards.

Great! Glad to see that the emails are now being sent normally using JotForm default email. If you want to send the email notifications using SMTP, please make sure that you are using the right settings in the SMTP settings.

You may contact the email service provider for any assistance with the SMTP settings. You may follow the steps provided in the guides that were mentioned in our earlier post or let us know here for any assistance you need.

    Thanks!
