Clicking the condition icon of a selected field shows condition not related to the field

Asked by konicki on May 17, 2017 at 03:34 PM
Also, I am new to JotForm so I just want to understand the following. When
I click on the conditions icon for a field, should I only see the
conditions that are tied/associated with that field?

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience. I was able to reproduce the issue you are having after creating a clone version of your form. Clicking the condition icon of a selected field should only show condition associated with that field. Since this is not what is also happening on my end when I clone your form, I will be forwarding this concern to our development team so it can be further checked. We will just notify you in this thread for updates if there are any.

    Thank you.

When I am on the form in Build mode and I click on the "Will this travel be recurring?" field and then click on the conditions icon (double arrows), I see conditions such as "TUID Check" that are not or should not be associated with that field.  Also, when I look at the drop down at the top of the page, it indicates that I am on the "Will this travel be recurring?" field.  I don't understand why I am seeing the "TUID check" condition on the "Will this travel be recurring?" field, unless I've done some incorrectly, and I'm hoping to figure that out. Thank you.

I just was about to report that I am re-building my form, and as I rebuild my conditions, I lose previous conditions that I had already built. I wonder if this is part of the problem too.  Also, how do I take advantage of the fix?  Is there anything that I have to do?  Thank you.

Is this in the same form? I checked this form http://www.jotform.us/form/71295159862163, and you have a few conditions in there. I can't confirm if the patched that was made by our developers is causing it, but likely to fix the problem.

As for the original problem, I would suggest checking if there are still unrelated fields that will show up when filtering the conditions. I think you are all set aside from this.
