I am trying to make use of API method to check the availability of a proposed company name and then, if available, make use of the name in a company incorporation form I have created.

    the method is described here:

Is this something I can achieve with Jotform myself or do you have someone with the skills that I could pass this task on to, for a fee of course?

As I understand, you want to check the user entry on a field if it is already taken or not. You can do that using the API of T2a. The jQuery example on this page will work for your needs. Please note that to set up this kind of connection you need to use the source code of the form you created and embed it your website.

You need to update the method call in this example with the method you provided. You need to get your API key using the js_key function to a variable and pass that to the line under the method name called as API key.

After all, you need to connect the function to an event on your form like click on a field or focus out from a field and tell the user if the name is available or not. You need to write these on your own. But don't worry we can help you to write this code. However, please note that we don't provide full developer support on the JotForm support forum.

Please give it a try and share your form and code with us. We would be very happy to help you integrate your data with JotForm.

    Thank you very much.

    Thanks for this.
However, I have no idea on how to integrate this query in my form and need some assistance. Is there any developer forums where I could get help_

    Kind regards
