Here's why I ask... I have several clients that host their website on their own servers. (IE: I do not host their website.) As such, I find it very difficult to charge them a monthly fee just for processing their forms. I guess this is probably a stupid question, as I'm sure you would not give out your proprietary information. I'm just trying to figure out how I can create websites with forms (for JotForm) for my clients who I get a one-time fee for building their site, but no monthly money from.
I don't want to get in a position where I create a website for a customer who ends up having a lot of traffic and then I have to pay extra monthly fees for processing their forms.
Any suggestions from JotForm staff or other web designers would be wonderful. (IE: Is it "acceptable" to charge a monthly fee to customers for processing their forms? I don't know of any companies who would advertise this fact and I can certainly see that being a deal breaker for someone who, for instance, has a HostGator account and is only paying $4.95 per month for web hosting.)
