    Hi JF,

Is it possible to set TWO Min and Max amount of characters allowed in a Text Area based on a previous user input?

    Ie

if the user selects (A) radio Button the text field allows between 10 and 100 characters only

    OR

if the user selects (B) radio Button the text field allows between 5 and 50 characters only

I know I can do it by using show/hide and conditional logic but is there a better way?

What you can do is to add many Long Text Entry(Text Area) fields, and set different entry limits on each of them:

Then, create conditions to show them based on the answer selected: https://www.jotform.com/help/316-How-to-Show-or-Hide-Fields-Base-on-User-s-Answer
