How to stop the automatic calculation/field population from preventing entry changes

On my form, I am using the auto calculation for a field ("Total").  I think it may be preventing any changes being made by the user in the field used to calculate ("number of individuals").

What I want to happen is that when someone enters the number of individuals they are registering for the event, a total is calculated and populated in the "total" field.  This happens nicely.  However, I noticed that if I type in a number for "number of individuals" and need to change it (as if the user mis-typed the number), it will not allow me to.  Is there a way to remedy this?

The form is below (you will need to choose a payment method other than paypal to show the fields in question).

    Thank you.

I am not able to fully understand the problem. I checked the form and I can see that the field TOTAL $: is a Read-Only field. So you cannot type on it.

The field Number of Individuals is using calculation condition that affect TOTAL: $ field. If you change the value it will also change the TOTAL.

Do you want the user to be able to type in value into TOTAL:$ field? Please provide more clarity and we will take a look.

The issue is that once I put a number in the “number of individuals” field,
it will not let me change that number. So, if I am filling out the form
and I enter 10, if I realize I made a mistake and really wanted to enter
11, it will not let me change it.

I cannot replicate this. The number field allows me to type and change the value. You have a limit in the field, to allow up to 20. You have to delete the entry if you wish to change it.

It’s working for me now, too. Last night it wouldn’t allow me to delete
the number once entered. Thank you for your attention to the issue, if it
    returns, I’ll let you know.
