I'm a year 7 teacher, and I want my students to be able to upload their assignments so I can assess them. The files are then transferred to my dropbox folder on my computer.
I've created a file upload form and added it as a pop-up to our classroom webpage, and it works some of the time but not all of the time.
Some of the files have not appeared along with the submissions. They are all the same file type. When I was testing it, I found that some of my test submissions worked and some didn't, so I don't think it's as simple as working from some computers but not others.
Folders were created for them on my dropbox, but the file is not in them. There is only the pdf report of the submission.
Also, one of the student submissions did not create a folder on my dropbox, but I'm wondering if that's because she added <3 to the end of her name when she typed it in, and it couldn't create a folder called that?
I have attached a screen shot of the submissions with some missing their upload file. (Obviously I have blanked out the names of my students.)
I have also linked the page with the pop-up. The link is near the top, labelled Upload it here: Excel Coordinates.

Hello Michal. We apologize for your inconvenience. I have been trying to replicate the problem but unfortunately, I could not. If possible, can you get an information on what browser did these students used when they submitted their files to you?
May I also suggest to use a single-file upload on your form and see if this case still continues.
Please also keep us posted for any updates.

Thanks. I have changed it to single file and I will see if that fixes it.
I don't have the browser information, but as I said it was doing it when I was doing test uploads on my own computer using the same browser, and sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. I'm using Chrome. So the browswer could be part of the problem, but since it sometimes worked, I think there's something else going on as well.
When I get the browser information I will pass that on.

Thank you for keeping us posted, Michal. Please also let us know if you're still having issues after having the file upload changed from multiple to single and the browsers used when you started to experience the issue about the files not being attached. We'll do our tests as well and see if we find anything.

All the students who had issues that I managed to catch up with were using Chrome. I'm also using Chrome, so it seems like it could be a problem working with Chrome, although it's weird that sometimes it worked for me.
After switching to single file, they all seem to have worked, but I will keep an eye on it.
