Is there a way to include hidden fields in submissions but not in emails to the submitter.

This is important to us as we import the data from the exported submissions excel workbook.  Not having the hidden columns available throws off the logic in our main excel spreadsheet when we import submissions from the Jotform submission export.

    Hello sckuperman,

Yes it is possible to achieve your requirement. Here are the steps you need to follow:

#1. Add a "Short text entry" field in your form and hide it from field property window.

#2. Set the desired value in the "Default Value" which you want to save. Please check the screenshot below:

#3. Edit your notification email alert template and remove the field name and tag. Please check the screenshot below:

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!

This doesn't work for me.  I have at least two fields that have "0" (as a number, and without quotes) as the default value.  They are both hidden.  They do not show up on the Excel export sheet.  The form is: https://form.jotform.us/sckuperman/P16-2017

    The field ID#'s are: #input_25 and #input_29

    Hello sckuperman,

I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.

I did check your form and found that fields "Classic Trail Mix" & "18 pk Butter Light" are hidden and has the id which you have mentioned above. I downloaded your form's submission in excel and I am not able to replicate the issue you are having. The excel field does display both the fields correctly. Please check the screenshot below:

I would suggest you to please export your submissions in excel again and get back to us if the issue persists.

    Thank you!
