Tab indexing skips a widget on iPad

I created a form this afternoon and added the check email widget after I had finished.

When I preview the form on the Macbook, tabbing through it takes me correctly from phone number to email address.

However, when I tab through on my iPad it skips email address until the end of the form.

I am loving the software and am considering upgrading but want to make this work correctly.

I also wanted to know if I can change the username from MalShakes999 to HomeConciergePro.

    Thank you for your help.

I can see what you mean, but this appears to be related to iPad keyboards. It appears like it is not possible to tab, as there is no tab key. You can see a discussion about it here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7020615?start=0&tstart=0

    Hi there
thank you so much for getting back to me.
I am using an external bluetooth keyboard on the ipad that does have a tab key and does work fine except for that field, which it does tab to but at the end of the form.
I guess I can try removing all the fields back to that field and then add them all back in again.
    Best regards,
    Mal

Sadly Mal, I don't think deleting and re-adding the fields would help. I made some tests using regular fields and widgets and found out that it's a native issue with iOS when fields are within an iFrame. Keep in mind that all our widgets are enclosed within their own respective iFrames. Yes, tabbing works on regular fields since they belong to the main body of the form, but with a widget, it's inside its own iFrame so once you hit the tab key, the field will lose focus and will close the soft on-screen keyboard on iOS devices (at least that's what happened with my tests).

I did try this on an emulated iPad (using Safari and Chrome as the browser) and they both exhibit the same problem. But with a Desktop and on Android, the tab index worked fine. You can try it on this test form https://www.jotform.com/71407263161954 and compare your results between iOS devices and Android.

Just wanted to follow up on this.
I removed the email verification widget and now it appears to be working with just a straight forward email box.
    Thanks!

    @MalShakes999,

Thanks for keeping us posted. If you would like to use the regular email instead, as an alternative, you may enable the Confirmation TextBox for email address confirmation.
