Form embedded on Wordpress not scrolling?

Asked by nickiversen on May 21, 2017 at 08:49 PM

My Jotform is embedded on our website (wordpress) and it won't scroll, unless you move the pointer off of the form itself.

It is possible that there's a script conflict happening between the JotForm's resources and your website's.

We have different ways on how you can embed your form on Wordpress, please follow try each of them and see which one works best for you. You can follow this guide for details: https://www.jotform.com/help/324-A-guide-to-forms-for-WordPress-users.

    I hope that helps.

I have already tried all of the options.

Previously I could get the form to behave 'normally' if I embedded the source code.

That has now changed and when I do this the form does not function correctly. All options of every field now require filling in order to submit.

From searching online I see that our scrolling problem is not unique, can you please advise of further options?

Could you please try re-embedding the form using the iFrame embed code? We will then check your web page and see how it behaves. Here's a guide that you can refer to: https://www.jotform.com/help/148-Getting-the-form-iFrame-code

Make sure to set the height attribute of the iFrame long enough for the whole form to be visible.

Also, I suggest checking your Wordpress theme or the support team there and ask for this specific issue, it seems to be something related on your Wordpress website itself. If you check your website on the browser console, you can see that it has an error loading a resource.

    I hope that helps.

I checked the page URL you provided and the issue still not fixed. May I ask if you have tried embedding your form to your website using the iFrame method

If yes and the issue still persists, please try embedding your form again but use this code:

    <iframe id="JotFormIFrame-71164329246456" onload="window.parent.scrollTo(0,0)" allowtransparency="true" src="https://form.jotform.me/71164329246456" frameborder="0" style="width:100%; height:7964px; border:none;" scrolling="no"> </iframe>

Hope that works. Please try it and let us know how it goes.

Thanks John, I’ll give that a try.
Any idea why the auto responders aren’t working?
