    Hey POME3790,

A default file input field would do the job for you.

Video in the following page explains how to put a file upload field and configure it:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/29-How-to-Change-the-Allowed-File-Types-in-the-Upload-Field

You can limit upload type to only mp3/mp4 by changing the required "File Types" property of the file field as shown in the video.

    Thank you for writing us.

    Have a nice day!

Thanks, however, I don't want the user to be allowed to upload the file, I want to load the MP3 file so that the users can listen to it!

You can embed the audio file into the form using the TEXT field. You can add the embed code in the TEXT field.

You can follow the workaround described on this similar thread.

Here is the demo form https://www.jotform.us/form/40591895535162

Thanks, Jonathan, but after reading that thread I am more confused than ever. I can see how I can load the field in the text box, I think my challenge is where to get the source code from for the MP3 file I have if you would direct me, please. Many Thanks

    Hello POME3790,

The Text element provided by Jonathan, is not a textbox field. What this Text element is is an area where you can enter descriptive text or a wall of text information that you want to have on your form, such as narrations, stories, instructions, etc. When adding this Text element, it becomes a text editor like a Word processor that you can style the font of the write-up you have made. You can likewise add images or an HTML code with the link to an audio media like MP3 for it to play music on the form.

Perhaps we can start it slow. What you need to do first is upload your mp3 file on a website where it can easily be accessed publicly such as your website and provide us a direct link to it so we can provide you a sample code on how it should work.

    Thanks.

Thanks again everyone for your comments and guidance. I have used the widget and loaded 7 audio files without any issues.

    Thanks again
