    Submission limit and auto-responder question.

Asked by EmilyKyriakides on July 20, 2012 at 07:23 AM

Hi, I've tried a number of test submission for a form as I can't get the autoresponder to work. I've now deleted them but will they count towards my account limit anyway?

Also, in my autoresponder emails, one has a 'sender' email as well as a 'reply-to' email but my other doesn't show the 'reply-to' option - how can I add this? And can I input an email of my choice? They seem to only want to pick up email addresses from the form input options.

    Thank you

Test submits count as actual submissions. Deleting them will not lower your account's monthly submission count. Your account is on professional status, anyway, so I don't get what you're worried about. Do you want me to clear your submissions count for those test submits you made?

Also, in my autoresponder emails, one has a 'sender' email as well as a 'reply-to' email but my other doesn't show the 'reply-to' option - how can I add this?

Autoresponders do not have a 'Reply-To' option. It is probably a notification email that you're referring to. Notice the slight difference in the email icon:

And can I input an email of my choice? They seem to only want to pick up email addresses from the form input options.

Like what I mentioned above, you were probably looking at a notification, that is why you cannot enter an actual email address.

Autoresponders can use any email address of your choice. Notifications, on the other hand, can only use addresses from form field values.
