    thank you for you explanation. but is it the same problem can happened even when you not displaying the Unique ID. You still have potential for gap in the id's ? example:

    1st person open the form id= UD_01

    2nd  person open the form id= UD_02

    3rd  person open the form id= UD_03

    1st & 3rd  person submit the form but the 2nd  person change his mind ,here is the gap.

    If I am wrong please explained.

    I like to use Unique ID and display this ID to the sales people on the form and I don't want them to create there own numbers. What would you recommend ?

    The IDs are assigned in the order the form is submitted, so if person A and C submits the form, person A will get the id= UD_01, and person C will get the id= UD_02. Let us know if you have more questions.
