Send my custom form data to JotForm upon submission

Asked by goquote on May 23, 2017 at 02:58 PM

    Hi there,

I have had a custom form built:

I have this form living on my godaddy server (same server my website is hosted for loading times reasons) but would still like the email to be directed through jotform to my email account once the form has been filled out.

    is that possible?

    Hello Ben

The easiest way to achieve that is to create a form in your JotForm account and replace the form on your website.

I can see that your form is custom built http://www.gotreequotes.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/form_desktop_007.html, but this can be mimic at JotForm including the form styles. This is the easiest way if you want to save the form data to your JotForm account. The other method is to modify your current form source code and write your own custom script along with JotForm API to save the form data to your JotForm account.

So basically what I've suggested above is to create a similar form in your JotForm account. You can also import your form http://www.gotreequotes.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/form_desktop_007.html to JotForm and make necessary changes to fix the form. Guide on how to import from:

Guide on how to import form: http://www.jotform.com/help/28-Cloning-a-Form-from-a-Web-Page

After that, take your form embed code and replace the form on your website.

Here's a sample form I've created out of your form with custom CSS injected to it  https://form.jotformpro.com/71426446076963

Feel free to clone or import this form too if you like.
