Using comma as decimal point in number formatting not working on Calculation widget

All, I am new to JotForm and am having trouble with the European Formatting in particular. I have a generic form that I am trying to develop and have several calculated fields. One field pair is for data entry, the second is a hidden field for the basis of estimate. Customer is to place a measurement in the fields, and the form will calculate the cost.

The form seems to be forcing the comma separator for the European format. When trying the suggestion of ticking the box in the calculated control for comma separation, it is Null but still pushing the comma formatting.

I have also looked within the widget to see if there is another formatting control that may be selected but there do not seem to be any that I am missing. I have tried some formatting that was suggested in the thread, but it seems that the calculation breaks when I do this.

    my form is at:https://www.jotform.com/build/71415750681860.

    Hi,

I reviewed your form and I can see that the configuration to use comma as decimal separator on Calculation widget is working as it is suppose to.

Thank you for the prompt reply. It is supposed to be a decimal, NOT a comma. On my end if I leave it unchecked, it still resolves as a comma. Thank you!

I apologize for the confusion. I misunderstood the original question.

I reviewed further the form and I found a fault on the field type used. I found that all your input fields used on calculation were actually all Calculation widget.

I suggest you change those input fields, even those hidden ones with a Textbox(short entry) field instead. Then redo the Calculation widget formula so that it will take effect on the newly used fields.

Let us know if this did not work.

I see, Thank you for the assistance with this. I had tried to use a "number" control thinking that they would be the right container for adding numbers, but the calculated field at the end did not work. So I tried using the calculator widget for each field (what you see) and it partially worked. I did not think to try text.

    Thank you for your help!
