Approval process

    Hi there,

I am making an IT-support form where the approval process is

    Requester request the problem

-> manager approve the request (through "edit form" link and input a shared password for manager

-> IT guy approve (through "edit form" link and input an IT-specific password)

Problem is, when the IT team approved the work, managers can go back to the same email, go to "edit form" link, and then they can see the IT's password.

Is there anyway to prevent that from happening? Any work around like a password field?

One of the not-so-good work around is to make custom CSS of a certain field same color as a background and not hilightable or something. If you think this method is the best way, please let me know how to write CSS for that.

    Thanks a lot.

Please allow me to inform you that it is not allowed to use Password Fields on Forms because it violates our Terms of Use.

Phishing. You agree that Company may terminate your JotForm Service immediately if a form's purpose is found to be deceptively obtaining: sensitive credit card information, social security numbers, user login credentials, or other sensitive personal information. All these activities are considered as Phishing and any account along with the violating forms will be suspended immediately.

It is also not possible to make a workaround to use CSS codes to make it work like a Password field on Forms.

However, for the approval process, it is possible to add an Edit link to the Email Notification so that the person will be able to receive the link to edit the submissions. You may take a look at my colleague's suggestion in this thread: https://www.jotform.com/answers/853147 or you may search our Forum threads with the same topics: https://www.jotform.com/answers/search.php?search=approval+workflow

    Regards.
