How can I make my forms secure?

Asked by BookB on May 24, 2017 at 04:40 AM
Can you help me how to make the forms very secure, because I am going to use them in my consulting company for question tool to confident content at my customers?

All forms created in Jotform are and should be running on SSL by default. What this basically means is that all forms are already secured.

On top of that, the forms and submissions are transmitted securely with a 256 bit high-grade encryption, which means that data is encrypted during the transmission and cannot be interrupted by anyone else. We have an SSL certificate that uses SHA256 with RSA encryption https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=secure.jotform.com

If you have more questions, don't hesitate to ask.

    Hello,

For question 1, you can repair or restore your forms by viewing your form's revisions history. What's important is you do not purge your forms after deletion. Deleted forms land in the trash folder of your My Forms page so this is a fail-safe process just in case you accidentally delete your form. Purging it on the Trash folder however makes the deletion permanent.

You can check this guide for information on accessing your form's revision history: https://www.jotform.com/help/294-How-to-View-Form-Revision-History

Please check this guide to know how to restore deleted forms: https://www.jotform.com/help/134-How-to-Restore-Deleted-Forms

For translating your forms, I recommend making your form multi-lingual. You can check this guide for more information: https://www.jotform.com/help/298-How-to-Make-your-Forms-Multilingual

If you have additional questions, please let us know.

    Hello BookB,

A password reset is only needed when you have lost or forgotten your password for logging in on your account. If you can access your account by properly logging in, there is no need to make a password reset.

But if you need to recover your account due to forgotten password:

    1) Click the Login link
    2) Click Forgot Password

Enter your email address and press the Send Reset Instructions button.

Once done, check your email inbox or spam folder for the password reset instructions there.

    Thanks.
