    Braintree payment tool: Unable to integrate with sandbox account.

    We've problem with braintree sandbox account.


    error: "Payment processing for this form will not work due to a Braintree authentication error. Please contact form owner for more assistance."

    I have doubts about the "merchant account id" item after the sendbox activation button


    Where am I wrong?

    Hello Andrea,

    Are you sure you are using correct Public key, private key and merchant id? Here are the steps required to find your merchant ID:

    #1. When you login to your braintree account, you need to go to "Account" >> "My Users" header link.

    #2. Click on "View Authorizations" under "API Keys, Tokenization Keys, Encryption Keys" heading.

    #3. In this page, if you scroll down you should be able to see the "Merchant Id" under "Client-Side Encryption Keys" headings. Please check the screenshot below:


    You have to copy this merchant ID and use it in your form's braintree payment integration. Please note that you need to also enable "Sandbox Mode" in your payment tool as well. Please check the screenshot below:
