How can I restrict the 'Country' field in the 'Address' Quick Tool

Asked by GPeaty on July 21, 2012 at 06:19 AM

I would like to restrict the 'Country' field in the 'Address' Quick Tool so that it is restricted to the default (Australia).

I can set the default easy enough, but cannot restrict it from being changed.

    Hi,

That's possible by modifying your form source code before embedding it to your site. First, you need to get your form source code, please follow this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/104-How-to-Download-a-Source-Code-of-your-Form

After that, search for the country field ID and append disabled = "disabled" attribute after it. Please check this screen:

Let us know if you need any further assistance with this. Thank you!

    Hi,

Your image is broken so I cant see the screenshot you mention.

This should be a simple enough feature as enough people have asked for it. Why dont you guys include it in the front end in an easy way?

I tried to follow you instruction but couldn't find what your were saying.....append disabled..... can you elaborate in detail with a bit of step by step.

    Thank you.

Sorry for that. I am not sure if this is what my colleague meant. But if you look the source code, you can just remove all the countries except the option AUSTRALIA

Please let us know if this helps.
