SmartyStreets: Request for manual "certify the address is correct" option

    Hello Jotformers!

We love Jotform, just saying :)

We have several widgets in our forms that validate email addresses and physical addresses...both are AMAZING! and help save us hours due to bad data issues down the line.

I was forced to UNrequire these two very important fields so that failed validations don't prevent the user from marching to the submit button.

Now the problem: If the data is not verified, it doesn't get submitted with the form...we get nothing in those fields. That causes a whole host of other issues, Zaps failing for example.

    SUGGESTION:

Add a feature where these can be made required fields by adding a check box saying, I know this data to be correct, proceed. Then that "xverify.com widget data"  or "smarty streets widget data" would have to become Jotform data and flow with the rest of the form data.

I hope this all makes sense.

    Thank you for your idea.

I have forwarded a feature request ticket regarding optional address verification on the SmartyStreets widget to our developers. Based on the SmartyStreets API I think it should be possible to implement. We will let you know if we have any updates on this.

If you need a similar functionality for some other widget, please open a separate thread. This is required since we cannot attach multiple tickets to the same thread.
