Autocomplete Location (Using Google Maps software)

Hello,

I currently have the Driving Distance widget on one of my JotForms.

I am in the process of creating another where I would need the user to enter "1 Location" and have the bar where they are entering the data to automatically populate with the address and name of the location, powered by Google Maps.

Does JotForm have a feature, widget, etc...that only allows for one fill-in box where it can be populated with Google Maps data (Name and Address)?

You can make use of our Autocompleted Address widget, you can select which fields to show in the widget.

With the Autocompleted Address widget, you will allow your users to enter the theater address and it will complete the address using Google Maps.

Just to be clear, I didn't need the address of the theatres, but the name of them only to appear when the user starts to enter data. I know on google maps searches, when you type in a name, the address appears with the nam.

What I will need the users do is something simple, just type in the name of the theater and the options, name options,  appear from Google Maps, the user can select and populate the box.

Did I need to include the addresses for that, as when on Google, once you start typing in the name, the name of the location begins to appear.

Hi there,

I tried to enter the theater name on the Autocomplete Widget and it shows up name options as I've typed in. Once I've typed the name of the theater, the names of locations begin to appear as well.

I added the Auto Complete Location but most of the movie theaters names don't display. Is there another way to type in the NAME of the cinema and have the address populate?

All don't appear, just selected locations.

I first type in the movie cinema name, and wait for the box to populate from Google Maps.

None of the AMC Theaters or Carmike Theaters in Richmond, VA populate.

Here is the website for the list: https://www.carmike.com/

Type is the zip code, at the carmike web address, of 23225 for about 4 options. When I attempted to type in the name, nothing appears.

Could it be my API code? I am a tech novice and maybe I did that wrong.

I understand that some locations are not showing on the suggested options when entering the name of the movie cinema name on the Autocompleted Address Widget.

Please note that the Autocompleted Address Widget is linked to Google Maps, so if the location is not available on Google Maps, it will not also available in the widget. This isn't something on your API code or in the widget itself, it is the limit of the location in Google Maps.
