    Hi,

This could be due to users refreshing the page, or not closing the session and submitting again. You can set your form to only accept unique submissions, either based on the cookies (loose check) or on the IP address (strict check). Please refer to the guide for a step by step walkthrough on how to enable unique submissions.

    Thank you!

    Hi

I did the loose check and it made no difference - every so often I would get loads of duplicates through.

Can you provide any further advice as this has been a huge problem  this year.

May I suggest if you cant stop them from submitting that you develop a tool where I can easily move submissions that match every field?

    Thank you

    Hello tracyalexander,

Once you have enabled your unique submissions, only by that time that it will log cookies on to the browsers who made the submission so you may encounter duplicates for those who already made submissions, but that will be the last time they will be able to do so. The next time the page loads again they will be bounced off with a page saying that they can only submit once.

Another method I can recommend is by pointing your form's thank you page to an external URL. This way they will be redirected somewhere else. Still, you will be receiving duplicates from those users but after that they will be thrown out of the page where they constantly get a prompt to confirm on making submissions. Thanks.
