Sending notification email to hidden value

Hey, I'm making a drop-down of 20+ branch names for my company.

Is it possible to send notification email to the branch that get selected from that dropdown. Does the calculation value work that way? I tried but it doesn't seem to work. How else can I do it without letting the user select the email from another dropdown list because thats twice the work.

You could copy the value from the selected option in the drop down to an email field, the email field can be hidden, then if you have an email auto-responder, you could only select that email field as recipient.
