Multiple Payment Options on one form?

Asked by BaitMeTreats on January 13, 2011 at 03:47 PM

I read a similar question from this summer but it didnt address exactly what we need to have happen - hoping you can offer guidance.

    We have several forms -

Retail (which is live on the main website) which only offers payment via Paypal.

Wholesale (which is hidden and only wholesale clients have link to this form) - would like to set up for Paypal (as is now) and also offer option to submit the order but mail a check and not pay right away.

Distributor (which is also hidden and only our distributors have this link) currently set up to only use Paypal with shipping also set. Would prefer to give option to use Paypal or pay with check and also prefer to make shipping or pick up an option.

Is this too complicated? If so - can you please help me recall how to remove the Paypal and shipping from the form and only use the submit form only and that way we can customize the THANK YOU page with a link to use Paypal OR contact us for check and also customize shipping or pick up.

Hope this isnt too complicated and that we have explained our desires thoroghly enough to you.

If you would like to give them an option to pay by check, have a $0 product on your list that says "Pay by Check". When the total is $0, the user will not be redirected to PayPal site for payment.

So in other words - they can ONLY select "pay by check $0 option" if they do not select any items to order?

I would like them to be able to select all the products they wish to purchase and THEN be able to selct pay by check -  or -  paypal.

I see. Then, that will not work. I added this to our feature requests list. I don't see a way to do this at this time.

ok thanks for addressing it for us! Until then we will just use a paper form or a Google form for the distributors and wholesalers...please keep us posted!

Why don't you just clone the form and use Purchase Order instead of PayPal for the product selections? "Purchase Order" field is created exactly for this.

On the form builder, click on the paypal question to select it, then click on the X (delete) icon on the right side of the question.
