I need to use a dropdown form for state selection

    Hello,

I need to create a smart, multi-page form that directs users to different steps based on which state they are in.

I want to use the 50 state drop dropdown as the first page of my form that directs users to a different form depending on which state they are in.

I understand that I will need to create a different form in all 50 states, but is that possible using the 50 state dropdown?

Here's an example, in case my explanation is confusing:

Step 1: Visitor selects state from dropdown (Wyoming),

Step 2: Visitor is directed to a specific page 2 of the form based on that selection.

Is that possible? If so, is there a training video on how to accomplish that?

Thank you so much! Developers are trying to charge my thousands of dollars for forms! Jot Forms is a life saver!

I am not sure if you want to redirect your users to different page of the same form or to different form based on state they have selected.

Both options are possible with conditional logic.

You can create a single form that will have 51 pages, one page with dropdown field and 50 pages for each of the states. Then you can use Skip to a Page conditional logic to redirect your user to a page for selected state. Inside of this guide you can find how to do it:

How to Skip Pages Using Conditional Logic

You want to create separate form for each state, you can also redirect them to a different form using conditional logic.

Change Thank You Page URL Based on a Condition

Please note that if you decide to create 50 forms you will have to upgrade your account to Silver or Gold plan, because of from limits. More about different account types you can find on our pricing page

Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.
