    Conditions: Show / hide field

    Asked by amiley1021 on May 30, 2017 at 01:25 PM

    I am having issues with one of the rules I am trying to set. Based on the answer to a question in my form, I am needing to Hide a large amount of questions.  The problem I am having is, once I test this on the live link of the form, the questions following the questions I am hiding are not showing up. It is just a blank white page and it doesn't give me the option to click next. Please advise.

    Your form is large. It has 32 pages and 45 conditions, so I'm not sure with witch of your conditions you have issues with. Please provide us more details about your issue. Which exact condition on your form is not working and for field on which page of the form?

    Most likely you are hiding page break (next button) field as well and because of that you are redirected to blank page. I would suggest you to check your conditions and make sure that you are not hiding page break fields.

    I have conditions set to skip sections based on an answer. It is skipping
    those sections, but not jumping to the next section properly. It has blank
    pages. See screen shot attached.

    I've attached a screenshot here of the condition not working. I am trying to show / hide sections of my form based on questions & answers prior.  It is just bringing up a blank page with the back / next button when skipping those pages. Please advise.

    I have created section collapse on certain sections and tested this. I the section set as the attached below.  I have then gone into the conditions to show / hide. I have rules that are suppose to hide the entire section based on another answer.  The good part is, that it is hiding the section I want it to hide. The bad part is, that it is not taking me to the next section properly. It takes me to a blank page that has the back / next button. Please advise...This is driving me crazy I've tried everything.

    @amiley1021

    Sorry, we do not offer phone support. However, we'd be glad to answer your questions here in the forum.

    I believe what you're experiencing is due to conflicting conditions. This is one of the common cause why you are seeing a blank page.

    Anyway, I inspected your condition and it is performing right. You are seeing a blank page if you will not select "Medical" in Core Benefits field. But if you do, it will give you the following.

    So if you want these pages to be hidden without showing any blank page, you need to use skip to page condition. So here's what you need to do.

    1. Delete the following condition first

    2. Then create a skip to page condition

    And then create the following.

    Feel free to modify the conditions according to your preference.

    Hope this helps!
