Save and Continue later feature not saving session data

Asked by TammieLRuiz on May 30, 2017 at 04:09 PM

I created the form below and tried to make it to where users can come back and continue to complete it on a daily basis. It is not saving the data after completing the second form.

I test submitted your form to test the Save form and Continue later feature.

It was working on your form.

Here is the URL of my saved session.

    https://form.jotform.com/62555910597970?session=siterepresentativesEmail&siterepresentative%5bfirst%5d=%7bsiterepresentativesName:first%7d&siterepresentativesName%5blast%5d=siterepresentativesName:last%7d&siterepresentativeEmail=%7bsiterepresentativeEmail=%7bsiterepresentative%7d

What I did noticed on your session form is that you have provided a link to the supposedly saved session (in the 2nd page)

Please make sure that the session link you added in the form is the actual session link from the Autoresponder E-mail.

If that session link in the 2nd page is incorrect and the user click on it, the saved session feature will fail or not work.

Actually, I recommend not adding the session link in the 2nd page anymore. The page break field is the one saving the session and is what making the feature work. As soon as the user click on Next button from 1st page, it will trigger the saving of the session.

The user should just use the session link they got from the auto email. You can put a different message/option on the 2nd page and no need to put the session link there.

You can review the user guide : https://www.jotform.com/help/97-How-to-Save-Forms-and-Continue-Later

I hope this help. Let us know if you need further assistance.
