How can I change the length of the auto generated number used in the RMA form?

    We are using the RMA request form to generate (unique) RMA#'s for our customers to return product for repair. The number that is generated and sent with the auto response is 15 characters long. This is excessive and tedious for customers when they call in to check on RMA#'s. Is there any way to reduce this number to 10, 9 or even 8 digits?

    I believe you are referring to the RMA {id} in the email notification. The {id} tag is actually the Submission ID. Unfortunately, we cannot decrease or increase the generated value of the Submission ID.

    However, you can use the Unique ID widget. Please check this guide: How-to-Add-Custom-Unique-IDs-to-your-Form-Submissions.

    You may also use the Random Value Generator widget. This widget automatically generates a unique value based on the settings on the widget every time the form is opened. Here's a guide on How-to-Add-a-Widget-to-your-Form.
