I filled out a test submission and I see it on the website but didn't get any sort of notification.

Please be advised that when you test the email notification, it goes to the account profile email address. Submissions goes to the set up email notification, please refer to this guide to help you set up email notification: https://www.jotform.com/help/25-Setting-Up-Email-Notifications.
