    Hi,

I would like to use JotForm for event registration. The registration fees are payed via bank transfer. Each payment is identified by unique variable symbol (10 digits). I want to display the payment information to Thank you page and in emails.

Therefore I need to add automatically a unique number (max 10 digits) to each submission and display it on Thank you page and in email.

The offered submission ID is to long.

Is it possible to configure ID length or add another unique number?

    Thanks

I'm sorry, but you cannot change the length of the Submission ID. We've made it that way to make sure of the uniqueness of each ID, considering the million of forms in our database. You may consider using the unique ID widget. We have this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/79-How-to-Add-Custom-Unique-IDs-to-your-Form-Submissions

You can also use our Random Value Generator widget: https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/random_value_generator
