The widget Take Photo is working different in android version and IOS.

In android is not possible to open the camera, it is just allowed to take the photo with the visualization minimized and in the self mode, is not possible to change.

In IOS is working correctly, I can open the camera to take the photo and choose if I want in the self mode or not.

Someone know what is happened? and if the widget for android will be back to normal.

    Thank you!

I have tested Take Photo widget on my android (Samsung Galaxy S4) phone and I was able to replicate mentioned issue. Self mode is always turn on and it is not possible to change it. I am not sure if this is a bug or not, considering that on desktop self mode is only available. I also do not have iPhone to test widget there.

For now I can only suggest you to add basic File Upload field to your form, so that your android users can take a photo using their camera and then upload it from gallery.

I will escalate this issue to our developers and we will inform you via this thread once this issue is resolved.

Hi, thank you for reporting the issue. We're happy to tell you that this has already fixed. We also made improvements on the widget so you can swap camera facing if there's more than 1 camera devices available. There's also a new option on the widget where you can set the default camera facing on load. Please try it out and let us know how's your experience with it.
