Does it auto populate data for returning guests.

I run a local free food pantry program once a month and I'm looking for an easy way to record information from our guests which is required by our regional food bank. My biggest desire is to have the data repopulate automatically for returning guests instead of having to re-enter everything each time. If that can be done with JotForm then I think I may have found the solution I've been searching for for months.

This is very much possible by enabling the 2 features on the form.

    #1 Edit Link

#2 Send Email at Later Date

You can use the Edit Link to let the user get back to their previous or existing submissions to edit and submit again.

You can add and Autoresponder E-mail on the form and set it to Send at Later Date. Since the Edit Link is on the email, the user will be able to edit only on later date.

Let us know if this configuration matches your requirements.

Thank you for your response, unfortunately it really does not meet my needs, I need to be able to access the data on the day submitted and also allow my upline to access it. But I want the guests information to remain in a file so that when they come in the next month they can click a button stating that are a returning guest and their information will auto populate instead of having to type it all in again, while still reporting to myself and my upline that they were there that day. Thank you

I would like to apologize, however, I believe what you are trying to achieve requires data extraction from an external database and I'm afraid that feature is not available in our forms. This might be accomplished using the form's full source code and embed it on a website, but it may require the help of a programmer to do so.

    Thank you.
